Inventory: Futures

Allocate and track futures sales including product release and shipping.

VinNOW has a Futures Date in Product Maintenance for any wine. When you create an order and VinNOW sees a product with a futures date on the product maintenance screen, it flips the "Futures Buyer" status in the customer record to "yes".

For the 702 report, VinNOW does not look at bottled inventory with a futures date, it still treats it as bulk wine.

When a futures product is sold, VinNOW puts it on its own packing slip.
